/ About The agency

A focused agency for brands that sell things online.

We started DialAmerica Marketing to do one kind of work well: help e-commerce companies grow in a way the business can actually sustain.

/ 01 Our story

Years of hands-on e-commerce work, kept deliberately narrow.

DialAmerica Marketing grew out of years of practical work inside online retail — running ad accounts, rebuilding product pages, fixing tracking that did not add up, and untangling why a store with plenty of traffic still was not profitable. We saw the same patterns again and again, and we saw how often generalist agencies missed them because they treated an e-commerce brand like any other website.

So we narrowed our focus on purpose. We work with product businesses — e-commerce stores, direct-to-consumer brands, subscription companies, and established retailers building a direct channel. Everything we do is shaped by the reality of that model: margin per order, the true cost of acquiring a customer, and how often that customer comes back.

Experience and philosophy

We believe most growth problems are diagnosis problems first. Before recommending spend, we want to know where value is leaking — in acquisition cost, in a product page that does not answer objections, in a checkout that loses mobile buyers, or in the absence of any reason to purchase twice. Scaling a broken funnel just spends money faster.

We also believe in saying the honest thing. If your offer is not ready, if your margins cannot support the channel you want, or if a competitor owns a position you cannot outspend, we will tell you. That candor is more useful to a founder than another round of optimistic projections.

Why we focus on e-commerce

E-commerce is measurable in a way many businesses are not. You can trace a dollar of ad spend to an order, a repeat purchase, and a margin. That measurability is exactly why discipline pays off — and why vague, unaccountable marketing has nowhere to hide. We would rather work where the scoreboard is clear.

How we approach strategy and execution

We do not separate the two. Strategy that never ships is a slide deck; execution without a thesis is busywork. Our engagements move from a written plan into real campaigns, flows, and pages quickly, then improve through structured testing. We keep the plan visible so you always know what we are working on and why.

/ 02 Values

Four commitments we hold ourselves to.

Not slogans — the standards we want you to hold us to.

01

Honesty over hype

Plain assessments, realistic expectations, and the truth when something is not working.

02

Economics first

Every recommendation has to make sense against your margins and repeat rate.

03

Fewer, deeper

A limited roster so accounts get senior attention, not a junior handoff.

04

Show the work

Clear reporting and reasoning you can question, defend, and act on.

/ 03 Communication standards

You should always know where things stand.

Good marketing partnerships run on clear communication, so we set expectations early. You will have a defined point of contact, agreed reporting cadence, and a shared view of priorities. We aim to reply to client messages within one business day, and we flag issues as soon as we see them rather than waiting for a scheduled call.

We keep meetings purposeful and reporting readable. If a metric moved, we explain why. If a test failed, we say so and what we learned. You should never have to decode a dashboard to understand how your money is performing.

/ 04 Fit

Who we work best with — and who we don't.

Being honest about fit saves everyone time. Here is where we add the most value.

A good fit

  • E-commerce or DTC brands with real product-market fit and steady orders
  • Founders and teams who want a strategic partner, not just task execution
  • Businesses ready to invest consistently and give the work time to compound
  • Companies willing to share honest data so we can measure what matters
  • Brands with healthy margins that can support paid acquisition

Not the right fit

  • Businesses expecting guaranteed returns or overnight results
  • Brands still searching for product-market fit or a viable offer
  • Anyone looking for the cheapest possible provider over a real partnership
  • Projects that need dozens of low-quality assets rather than considered work
  • Teams unwilling to share the data needed to make sound decisions

Marketing performance depends on many factors. Your offer, market, website, budget, creative, execution, and competitive conditions all shape outcomes. No agency controls all of them — but a good one is honest about which ones are working against you.
